CSC Director of Recreation Position

Culpeper Soccer Club is hiring a part-time Director of Recreation. This position will be responsible for supporting Recreation Soccer initiatives and the management of Recreation Soccer programming. The position is anticipated to require 20-30 hours per week in-season, with reduced hours out of season.

Position Description:

• Manage the daily administrative aspects of the Recreation Program in support of the Board of Directors and Technical Staff.
• Provide information and correspondence to CSC members.
• Support the coordination of special events and the successful start of each Recreation season.
• Support ordering of uniforms, equipment, and field supplies as needed.
• Send information to coaches and keep records of coach background checks and safety courses.
• Provide input for CSC strategic planning, marketing, and public relations efforts.
• Support the coordination of facilities, schedules, coaches, and referees for Recreation programming.
• Support rostering, scheduling, marketing, communication, and planning of the CSC recreation program in coordination with the Technical Staff.
• Support parent education on the club's policies and philosophies regarding youth development and age appropriate activities through email correspondence, clinics, and written material.
• Provide mentorship to Rec coaches and foster good sportsmanship in a safe and fun environment.
• Coordinate Recreation game-days by facilitating set-up and supervising activities throughout the day.
• Serve as the main point of contact on Recreation game-days for members.
• Provide general support of other CSC programs as needed.

CSC Registrar Position

Culpeper Soccer Club is hiring a part-time Registrar. This position will be responsible for supporting all registration initiatives. The position is anticipated to require 20 hours per week at peak registration times, with limited administrative duties and hours (approximately 5 hour per week) in the off season following peak registration times.

Position Description:

• Create online registration programs for all programs.
• Provide information and correspondence to CSC members related to registration.
• Organize and carry out onsite registrations for Recreation program.
• Monitor current and upcoming registration programs, providing updates to the Technical Staff and CSC Board of Directors.
• Manage incoming registration questions and ensure proper documentation is received from players, coaches, and parents.
• Send relevant information to coaches and keep records of coach background checks and safety courses.
• Monitor non-paid registration fees monthly, and assist members with system payment issues.
• Support Travel and Academy tryouts, creating online registration programs, assisting with check-in and onsite registration, sending invitations, and monitoring player acceptance numbers.
• Complete VYSA registration process for all programs and players.
• Submit tournament applications and registrations for all CSC Travel teams.
• Provide general registration support of other CSC programs as needed.
