Program Information
The CSC Academy is focused on introducing young players to professional coaching and technical development. The training environment is perfect for U8-U10 players who love the game of soccer and are motivated to learn new skills under the guidance of licensed coaching staff. Players are encouraged to additionally participate in the CSC Recreation Program to experience regular game play. Program Goals & Mission.
Player Development is the number one priority of the Academy. The long-term goal is to develop players who are capable of competing at the travel soccer level and beyond. The Academy environment is exciting and challenging and will constantly test our players. As players mature, it is important to place them appropriately to ensure they are encouraged and pushed to achieve their own personal bests. The Academy Program continues to promote fun and fundamentals, while also demanding a strong work ethic, commitment, and passion for the game.
Academy Player Goals
- Have the ability to attack and defend as an individual
- Attempt to play using both feet
- Be able to show imagination and creativity
- Identify 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 2, & 3 v 3 situations

- All Academy Coaches have a USSF Grassroots License and are pursuing additional Qualifications/Licenses.

- U8 Academy is for players born in 2016 & 2017
- U9 Academy is for players born in 2015
- U10 Academy is for players born in 2014
- Wednesday & Friday Training Sessions | Culpeper Sports Complex
- 5:30 - 6:30pm for U8 Academy | 5:30 - 6:45pm for U9 & U10 Academy
- Professional Weekly Training Sessions with Licensed Coaching Staff | 10 Total Sessions Per Season
- Times and Dates are subject to change based on daylight, field availability, or weather cancellations.
