Introduction to Culpeper Soccer Club's Academy Program

My name is Carl Gray, and I am extremely excited to be the Head Coach for the Culpeper Soccer Club Academy Program.

I am a USSF-A Licensed Coach I and also have the USSF Youth National License. Many of our professional coaches, who participated in the program, will be returning again this year. All of the coaches in the Academy Program have experience working with players in this age group, and we will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for participating players.

All activities in this program are designed to develop the fundamental skills in soccer. The focus is on the individual development of the player. Players will rotate through several stations in the sessions, which are designed to provide the player an opportunity to work in small groups with the professional staff guiding their development activities. The staff will provide the repetition necessary for players to gain confidence in their skills in a fun activity.

The Culpeper Academy program will start on Wednesday, September 11. We will meet every Wednesday evening from 5:30 PM until 7 PM. The final session will be held on October 23rd. Inter squad matches will happen periodically in the Academy, and we will seek opportunities to compete against similar programs with other clubs.

U8-U10 Academy

Program Information

The CSC Academy is focused on introducing young players to professional coaching and technical development. The training environment is perfect for U8-U10 players who love the game of soccer and are motivated to learn new skills under the guidance of licensed coaching staff. Players are encouraged to additionally participate in the CSC Recreation Program to experience regular game play.

Our commitment lies in fostering comprehensive growth, encompassing both on-the-field skills and personal development. We strive to enhance technical skill, game sense, instill a strong work ethic, and ignite a deep, lifelong passion for the sport. We believe in cultivating a supportive club culture, where each player feels valued and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
