Dear Culpeper Soccer Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we are excited to share several updates regarding the future of Culpeper Soccer and our commitment to improved communication with our families.

New Leadership

The club is moving forward with a full board and a renewed focus on our players and their families.  My name is Jeff Stafford and as your incoming President, I’d like to share a bit about my history with the organization and why I’m so invested in its success. Since 2006, I have been deeply involved with Culpeper Soccer across all levels of play. Having coached numerous teams in our Recreational, All-Star, and Travel programs, and most recently serving as Co-Director of Travel/Academy, I’ve seen firsthand what makes this club special.

New Boosters Club

Program Updates

Recreational Program (U6-U19): The season is almost here! Spring registration will close for the season on March 1st. Register your player today!

Little Comets (U4): This energetic program is designed specifically for our tiniest aspiring athletes!  This fun program will focus on activities crafted to spark joy while building foundational soccer skills. We’re not just teaching soccer. We’re cultivating a lifelong love for the sport! Registration will close for the season March 20^th!

TOPS Program: US Youth Soccer TOPS (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a free, community-based program for young athletes ages 6 and up with mental or physical disabilities. This modified version of the game meets for one hour on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings at the Complex. Please reach out to Betsy Fry at [email protected] with any questions.

Travel Tryouts:  Registration for travel tryouts is now open. All tryouts will take place at the Culpeper Sports Complex (16358 Competition Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701).

U11–U14 Boys & Girls (click here to register)

• Dates: Monday, April 27 & Wednesday, April 29
• Check-In: 5:30 PM | Tryout: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
• Age Groups: U11 (Born 2015/16) through U14 (Born 2012/13)

U15–U19 Boys & Girls (click here to register)

• Dates: Monday, May 4 & Wednesday, May 6
• Check-In: 7:00 PM | Tryout: 7:30 PM – 8:45 PM
• Age Groups: U15 (Born 2011/12) through U19 (Born 2007/08)

Makeup Session (if needed): Monday, May 11 (Time TBD)

Referee Certification Course

• Sunday, March 22nd, 12pm – 4pm at the complex.

• Coursework must be completed before the field work.

Coaching Opportunity: Coach For Community (C4C) with VYSA

We are also excited to announce that a brand-new Culpeper Soccer website is currently under construction!  While we are moving to a new platform to provide a better, more user-friendly experience, our web address will remain the same, www.culpepersc.org. We expect to share more news regarding the official launch in the next couple of weeks and will notify you the moment the new site goes live.
