The mission of Culpeper Soccer Club’s Travel Program is to provide a modern, integrated, and cohesive environment that develops players who have the ability and mindset to succeed both on and off the field.

Our program creates pathways for elite players through experienced licensed coaches, year-round training, competitive league play, tournaments, and showcase events. We are committed to helping players grow, compete, and reach the next level.

    The mission of Culpeper Soccer Club’s Travel Program is to provide a modern, integrated, and cohesive travel program that produces and retains team players who demonstrate the ability and mentality to succeed in soccer and in life. Our program’s culture is exemplified by our players who share a common goal to grow and play the game of soccer. The Culpeper Soccer Club (CSC) Travel Program provides elite players with pathways to the next level, experienced coaches with national licensing, full-year playing opportunities, individualized skill training, competitive league play, showcase events and tournaments, preseason training, and so much more! We look forward to working with players who are ready to challenge themselves in this premier program.

    Player Development Curriculum

    Culpeper Soccer Club follows the U.S. Soccer Player Development Curriculum and the CSC Travel Soccer Training Curriculum.

    Establish CSC player development opportunities at the next level

    • Continue mission of identifying players with truly elite potential whose development would be best served playing in an elite environment.
    • Provide training opportunities at Technical Director’s approval for Elite level players (Elite – Defined as National/College Level).
    • Provide playing opportunities to college level players at showcase events.
    • Provide avenue for Culpeper based youth to play at the national, professional, and college level.

    Annual Schedule

    • Preseason Training and Team Camps (August)
    • Preseason Friendlies (August)
    • 2 Training Sessions Per Week for U11-U19 Teams (August-November)
    • Goalkeeper Training (September-November)
    • Fall Season League and Tournament Play on Saturdays or Sundays (September-November)
    • Winter Indoor or Outdoor Training (January-February)
    • Spring Preseason (March)
    • 2 Training Sessions Per Week for U11-U14 Teams (March-May)
    • Goalkeeper Training (March-May)
    • Spring Season League and Tournament Play on Saturdays or Sundays (April-May)
    • Travel Tryouts (May)

    Training dates and schedules are subject to change if public health guidelines, weather cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances prevent regularly scheduled soccer activities. Winter futsal training is included at no additional cost for Travel players but can be cancelled without make-up opportunities if health guidelines or weather cancellations prevent indoor soccer activities. Every attempt will be made to make-up cancelled soccer activities.

    Virginia Club Soccer League (VCSL) Match-Day Format

    • VCSL coordinates club-to-club traveling schedule. Each club’s contingent of teams, boys and girls, travel together to all away games. Start times are staggered allowing Technical Staff and multiplayer families to watch several games. Home games for CSC teams are held in Culpeper, generally at a single location, which helps families enjoy the game-day experience as a club and community.

    Uniform Fees

    • Required U11-U19 Travel | Approximately $150.00 depending on uniform size | Two Year Uniform Cycle (2025-2027)
    • Uniform kits consist of two CSC Adidas Jerseys, Red & Gray. One pair of Black Adidas Shorts. One Gray Training Jersey. One pair of Black Adidas Socks.

    2026-27 Travel Fees

    • U11-U12: $1,250
    • U13-U14:  $1,440
    • U15-U19: $1,000
    A deposit of 25% is due at the time of registration.

    Age Group Format Update

    Starting in Fall 2026, U.S. Soccer is allowing youth leagues to move away from the traditional calendar birth year system (January 1–December 31) and instead use a school-year-based system (August 1–July 31).

    What This Means

    This change gives youth leagues the option to align age groupings more closely with the school calendar rather than the calendar year.

    Why the Change Was Made

    • Better align soccer age groups with school-year groupings
    • Reduce disruption for players and families
    • Create a more positive and consistent experience for youth players
