2017 CSC Classic Tournament Information

June 3 - 4, 2017

Exclusively for recreational teams, the Culpeper Soccer Club Classic tournament is a new spring soccer tournament in Virginia. State-of-art venue and quality soccer featuring local and regional competition will guarantee a fun filled weekend and an unforgettable experience.

Teams will play at Culpeper Soccer Complex. 

Accepted teams: U8-U18 Recreational Teams that participate in a recreational, house or intramural program for a club, league or association with up to 5 guest players allowed.  NO TRAVEL TEAMS or ALL STAR TEAMS that have gone through a tryout/invitation process of any type are allowed to participate in the Classic.


Team Fees: $225 (U8), $300 (U10), $375 (U12), $425 (U14-U18)

Application Procedures

Teams desiring to attend the Annual Culpeper Soccer Club Classic Tournament should complete and submit the online application. The Application MUST be submitted online. Applications sent via US Mail, Email or FAX will NOT be accepted. Any questions should be directed to the Technical Director, Dan Bales, by email at

A check for the appropriate application fee MUST BE IN THE HANDS OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR BY May 14, 2017. Checks (made payable to Culpeper Soccer Club) can be mailed to P.O. Box 1105, Culpeper, Virginia 22701; Attention: Monique. FAX or email copies of check will NOT be accepted. Credit card payments are accepted, however we will add a 3% convenience fee.

Note: Official notification of acceptance and non-acceptance will be e-mailed and placed on the website at (tournaments) approximately May 14th. Those teams not accepted will have their entry fee returned. Should a non-accepted team later be granted entry into the tournament, the team will be required to resubmit the tournament entry fee.


Age Groups & Competition Levels

The following age groups are invited:

Age groups for the seasonal year that begins September 1, 2016, and ends August 31, 2017.


U08 Players born in 2009/2010

U14 Players born in 2003/2004

U10 Players born in 2007/2008

U16 Players born in 2001/2002

U12 Players born in 2005/2006

U18 Players born in 1999/2000


The tournament will be offering U8 competition in 4v4 with no goalkeeper.


The Tournament will be offering U10 competition at 7v7, U12 will be 8v8. The number of teams accepted, the number of flights, and the placement of teams amongst flights will be at the discretion of the tournament committee.


Team Participation & Guest Players

U8 plays 4v4 and may enter with a maximum of 14 players; U10 plays 7v7 and may enter with a maximum of 14 players; U12 plays 8v8 and may enter with a maximum of 18 players;  U14 plays 11v11 may enter with a maximum of 18 players; U16 plays 11v11 and may enter with a maximum of 22 players.  Player rosters authorized by their respective soccer association shall be verified and compared with the approved state roster at team registration and available for verification prior to each match.  Players must be born during or after the year indicated by the age division in which they are to compete.  Coaches shall ensure that the player rosters presented at registration and prior to each match correspond to the approved state roster.  All teams must have current US Youth Soccer or approved organization player passes or the appropriate national association.


Guest Players

A maximum of 5 guest players per team is allowed. Guest players must have recreation player passes to qualify for our tournament



Team awards will be presented to champions and finalists for all levels of competition.

The Tournament desires to place teams properly and competitively. To ensure this it is imperative that we have accurate and specific information on all teams wishing to play. Please ensure the Game History portion is completed accurately and in its entirety.

Neither the Tournament Committee, Culpeper Soccer Club, nor the Tournament Sponsors are responsible for any expenses incurred by any team in the event the tournament is cancelled in whole or part, or in the event games are discontinued or cancelled due to inclement weather or adverse field conditions, nor will any refunds be made. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to decide all matters pertaining to the tournament. The judgment of the Tournament Committee is final. The Tournament Director has authority to make all decisions and these decisions will be final. All referee decisions are final and binding.
